The Moeraki boulders, on the way to Oamaru from Dunedin, are completely spherical and look magical as they lie side by side on Koekohe beach. While our Magic Bus driver told us that these sphrecical magesties are the result of a volcanic eruption we have since learned that this is not true. Apparetntly, they are in fact concretians - a term which I do not fully understand. We need a geologist to explain further. They're mighty cool to see.
