From backpackers to 'bag-wheelers'

We've finally given in. We know we are flashpackers but really, we are ridiculous by even this standard. Our bags are just way too heavy and we cannot walk for even two minutes without collapsing and having to throw them off our measly shoulders. We somehow have to get our mahoosive backpacks, our two day bags and two body boards onto the plane without a grumble from Quantas staff in a few days. Needless to say, we have sadly made the decision to leave our beloved tent here with Dave and Iulia.

Luckily for us, however... there is a huge selection of granny trolleys here in Oz! Yep, that's right... we're each now the proud owners of a set of wheels. For our backpacks. Ha!

We had initially looked at getting those fancy-pants backpacks with wheels already on but they were at least double the price and didn't look very comfy for when you actually had to wear them on your backs. Well, we've caved in with some granny-wheels now, and don't we just look cool!

Now all we have to do is get these trolleys on the plane as hand-luggage! Hmmm. To be continued...
