Prisoners in OZ

The Old Melbourne Gaol

The Old Melbourne Gaol is where Ned Kelly was famously imprisoned. Today the cells serve as museum exhibits on past prisoners and life in Melbourne during the convict days of other Australian states. Next door is a modern-day police precinct jail that was only closed in the 1990s. Now you can live the 'experience' of being locked up in the slammer.
